Public Notice: Invitation For Bids

Open Bidding for Used Motor Vehicles and Motor Cycle

Action for Community Development (ACODEV) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for motor vehicles and Motor Cycle with the following specifications;

  1. The Vehicles, Motor Cycle and Generator – Ref # 04 (Kingmax – KM 14800S Diesel) can be viewed from Wednesday 25th– Friday 27th March 2026 from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm at ACODEV Offices, Plot 98/99 Masooli – off Road Gayaza.
  2. Interested bidders should submit sealed bids particularly quoting the reference number of the motor Vehicle or Motor Cycle addressed to the Executive Director, Action for Community Development- Uganda.
  3. Each bid document can bid for 1 item.
  4. A non-refundable participation fee of 50,000/= (for each bid) will be paid at bid submission to ACODEV Finance office and a receipt issued.
  5. The bidder can print the bid document (BELOW) or pick a copy from ACODEV-U Offices
  6. The vehicles and motor cycle will be sold to the highest bidders on “as is” basis subject to a reserve price.
  7. ACODEV will not have further liabilities after sale.
  8. Interested bidders can hand deliver bids at ACODEV offices not later than 4:00 pm 31st March, 2026.
  9. Bidders can attend the bid opening on Wednesday 01st April at 11:00 am

Open biding for carpentry equipment

Action for Community Development (ACODEV) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the carpentry equipment listed.

  1. The Equipment can be viewed from Wednesday 25th– Friday 27th March 2026 from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm at ACODEV Offices, Kyanduli II Cell, Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Town Council, Kasese district.
  2. Interested bidders should submit sealed bids particularly quoting the reference numbers of the items bided for addressed to the Executive Director, Action for Community Development- Uganda.
  3. A bid document can bid for 1 or all items.
  4. A non-refundable participation fee of 10,000/= (for each bid) will be paid at bid submission and a receipt issued.
  5. The bidder can print the bid document (BELOW) or pick a copy from ACODEV-U Offices
  6. The equipment will be sold to the highest bidders on “as is” basis subject to a reserve price.
  7. ACODEV will not have further liabilities after sale.
  8. Interested bidders can hand deliver bids at ACODEV-U offices (Kyanduli II Cell, Mpondwe- Lhubiriha Town Council, Kasese District) OR ACODEV-U Head Office – Plot 98/99 Masooli, off Gayaza ON 31ST March, 2026 before 4pm.
