Project Goal: The Sustainable Outcomes for Children and Youth Program aims to improve the health, nutrition, education, and psychosocial well-being of orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as reduce abuse, exploitation, and neglect among this population.
Project Objectives:
Orphaned and vulnerable children, youth, and their caregivers are economically empowered to effectively access core services.
Local governments and CSOs have increased availability and improved the quality of core services for orphaned and vulnerable children, youth, and their caregivers.
Service providers have improved the coordination of community-based clinical and socio-economic services for efficient and effective referrals along the continuum of care.
Target Population: Children, Youth, and their caregivers
Number Targets: 58,000 Beneficiaries
Partners: MGLSD, District local governments, and LLGs
CSOs: The AIDS Support Organisation, Kitara Civil society Organisation, CARITAS, Reach out Mbuya, COVOID
Geographical location: Wakiso, Luwero, Hoima, Kikuube, Kibaale, Kakumiro, Kyenjojo, Sheema, and Mitooma districts.
