The power of the future is in the hands of the young people/adolescents, and their reproductive health should be taken with high consideration and Integrity; this is what ACODEV believes in. Our drive for change to enhance Reproductive health for adolescents is inspired by the unending need to increased access and utilization of Sexual Reproductive Health services and promotion of improved livelihoods amongst vulnerable youth. ACODEV for a long time has registered a lot of success through utilization of a first line of primary health care workforce “Village Health Teams” at Community level to provide first-hand information through health education to adolescents and strengthen community-referral system. Following this process, Health workers at Facility level are engaged to effectively respond to Reproductive health challenges upon referral. In addition to 282444 adolescents who are registered by ACODEV as successfully utilized services such as Family planning, Antenatal care, health center-delivery, post natal checks, general health education through youth corners, HIV Testing among others, we at ACODEV continue to have new sustainable innovations to cause positive change in the lives of more people in East and Southern Africa.
