Project goal:
The goal of the project is to contribute to a reduction of unintended pregnancies, unsafe abortions, and the total fertility rate among the refugees and host communities of Moyo, Adjumani, and Obongi districts through the provision of quality FP information and services by 2025.

The project is targeting 100,041 women of reproductive age (15-49) and men with FP information; 66,337 in Adjumani 23,480 in Obongi and 10,224 in Moyo districts by 31st Dec 2025.

Project Name: Family Planning Activity

Project Goal
To support the Government of Uganda to increase the adoption of positive reproductive health behaviors among Uganda Women, men, and young people and contribute to long-term shifts in Uganda’s modern contraceptive prevalence rate (mCPR) and fertility rate by 2025.
Project Objectives
1. To Implement FP demand creation interventions at the community level aimed at increasing awareness and creating demand for services in Bundibugyo and Ntoroko districts by September 2023.
2. To provide voluntary FP counseling and FP alternatives within the mandate of ACODEV i.e., condom distribution, contraceptive pills, contraceptive injectable Depo Provera, and other fertility awareness methods in Bundibugyo and Ntoroko districts by September 2023.
3. To establish and functionalize community–facility linkages, increase access to long and permanent FP methods as well as management of side effects with support from the nearest health centers in Bundibugyo and Ntoroko districts by September 2023.

Project Name: Strengthening Positive Outcomes for OVC & Caregivers (SPOOC) to date

Project Goal: To improve the social-economic status of OVC, Youth, and Caregivers affected by HIV/AIDS
Project Objectives:
• The livelihoods of 60 Youths and 100 OVC Caregivers in the 3 Sub-Counties of Kasese District improved by the end of May 20.
• Access to formal education by 190 OVC/Youth aged 8–24 years in the 3 Sub-counties of Kasese District improved by the end of May 2019.
• 250 OVC and 100 Care giver’s access to HIV/AIDS prevention, care& treatment, and Child Protection services in 3 Sub-counties of Kasese District Improved by the end of May 2019.
• Effective project implementation through monitoring and support supervision to achieve the above objectives attained by the end of May 2019
