Tracing our Footprints:

Action for Community Development (ACODEV) started in Kasese as a Community-Based Organization in response to contributing to the alleviation of challenges created by the HIV/AIDS scourge and mitigating the adverse effects of war both perpetrated in Uganda and the spillovers from across the border in Eastern Congo in 2003.

2003

Kasese: Where it all began
Kasese is a town north of Lake George in the Western Region of Uganda. It originally grew around the copper mine at Kilembe, while attention later turned to cobalt mining. It is the chief town of Kasese District, and the district headquarters are located there. Kasese is also the largest town in the Rwenzururu region.

2015

Opened Kasangati – Kampala Headquarters
Our offices are located near Faith Mulira Health Center, Plot 98/99, 600 meters off Gayaza road in Masooli, Kasangati town. P.O. Box 22234, Kampala – Uganda. We are open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
